The following are terms of service for NYAROMA (also called "the artist", "me", "myself", and "I").

This Terms of Service is subject to change without notice.

As the Artist

  • I retain all rights to commissioned artwork.
  • I can reject or cancel your commission for any reason.
  • I will not edit past commissions.
  • I will not finish the work of other artists.
  • I will not make a commission private after it has been posted.

As the Client

  • The client is responsible for reading and understanding these terms of service.
  • By contacting and commissioning NYAROMA, the client affirms that they are at least 18 years old.
  • The client retains all rights to their own characters, not the commissioned artwork.
  • The client must provide clear and concise visual references and descriptions of the commission concept while ordering.
  • Commissioned artwork is for personal use only.
    • The client may crop it and use it as an avatar, banner, wallpaper, or print for personal use, etc.
      • The client may not alter the artwork itself.
    • The client may showcase the commissioned artwork on their personal sites, pages, and galleries as long as I am properly credited as the artist.
    • The client cannot profit off of commissioned artwork.
      • i.e Selling prints, t-shirts, downloads, etc.

Communication and Delivery

  • All business is to be conducted via e-mail at nyaromaart@gmail.com. I will not discuss commissions through instant messengers or private messages.
  • As the client you must respond to emails in a timely matter, else your commission may be delayed, cancelled, and refunded. This is guarenteed with absence of communication over 2 weeks.
  • The finished commission will be delivered via e-mail at the highest resolution.

Payment

  • Payment will be accepted in USD only.
  • Prices are non-negotiable.
  • After I accept your commission, I will send you an invoice via PayPal or Square.

  • Full payment is required up front before any work is to begin.
  • Payment is required within 48 hours after the invoice has been sent.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • If the artist cancels the commission, the client will be refunded in full.
  • If the client cancels:
    • Before work begins, a 100% refund will be issued.
    • After work has begun, a refund will be issued based on the amount of completion.
  • The client is no longer eligible for a refund if the work is nearly completed or after the work is completed.

Edits

  • Major edits requested for the pose after the sketch phase will be denied.
  • Requested edits that were not available on references and information provided beforehand will be declined. (e.g markings for a character not seen on provided references, etc)
  • The artist is no longer obligated to edit a commission after it is completed and accepted by the client.
